Yes, something that simple! I can do it in Cubase 10 Pro and every previous Cubase version but not in the 10.5 or 11 updates. Now the only other problem I have (that even Steinberg’s Tech Support can’t solve) is why I can NOT double click to change a track name in Cubase Pro 11. Even though it says not recommended. As far as I know if you open up another version on a dongle or the soft elicenser it will say Verve files missing. HALion 6 requires the eLicenser Control Center and the Steinberg Library Manager for license and content management. After downloading hit the open button then select Register in place. Reinstall Verve from the Download Manager. Thank you both again…so VERY MUCH! You have improved my experience with the huge learning curve of this program!!! First you uninstall anything connected to Verve. I believe I must have only downloaded from Halion Sonic SE 3 “Resources” under the “VST Instruments & Plugins” section in the Download Assistant. Thank you so very much for taking your time to detail out this information (with indented bullets and all…impressive !!). Now all appears to be well when I play all sounds. FCP_SMT_087_HSSE_VST_Expression.vstsound.Martin, I downloaded and installed the content again from the Cubase 11 Pro/HALion Sonic SE 3 Content area and it loaded the two extra sound files that were missing in HS SE Pro. I will leave the SE 3 version intact even though I don’t use it. Martin and Jaslan, thank you so much for your help! As long as a person has the paid HS 3 version, why would you even need the SE 3 version? Might it be best to uninstall SE 3 ? vstsound factory sound files under HS SE Pro but they do not load and the Manager does not show any errors or problems of any kind. When I check the details in Stienberg Library Manager it shows 4. I tried reloading both VST instruments with the extensive 29 GB library again from Steinberg’s Download Assistant but it did not evidently load those missing patches from the HS SE Pro library. vstsound files to load back onto my system. I guess I need to know where I can find those particular. Of course they all play in both the paid and SE version but for some reason “HS SE Pro” sounds say they are missing when I try to play them in either HALion Sonic 3 plugin. “HS SE Artist”, “HS SE Basic”, “HS SE Basic”, and “HS SE Pro”. I believe these sound libraries came with the SE version. I have both versions of HALion Sonic 3, the paid version and SE 3 version. I am using a PC with a windows 11 operating system.Sorry, I should have made this clearer. I set the target path to a folder on my desktop. For actions such as registering, moving, or deleting libraries, the Steinberg Library Manager requires full access to all VST Sound libraries. I have the latest Halion Sonic SE 3 installed and I have downloaded the content for it using the download assistant. The standalone Steinberg Library Manager application that is installed together with your Steinberg DAW or plug-in allows you to register and manage your VST Sound libraries. The Halion window then opens but it is not populated with instruments. so those were the steps: - unistalled r2r HAlion - installed the official - unistalled the official but kept the content data - reinstalled r2r HAlion - the folders are already there, but can't find anything with Library Manager. Here is a description of the steps I took and resulting faulty result: I simply added an empty project, then added an instrument track and chose Halion Sonic SE. I just don’t know the standard things and haven’t been able to find anything on the Steinberg website that helps me solve my problem. I am sure you will quickly see the problem and know the solution. I do not think it is a complicated problem for people who are not complete Cubase Newbies, so I am reaching out to you folks to beg you to look at this post. I have posted already on this topic but so far have not found a solution.
